You don’t have to wait for below freezing temps to go skating

If your kids are like my kids, they can’t wait to get on the ice again. Here’s the latest on free public skate sessions at the Duluth Heritage Center, now on most Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Find out details in the following press release from the Duluth Parks and Recreation Department:

The fall Parks and Recreation sponsored skating sessions held at the Heritage Sports Center will begin on Wednesday, September 21st. New this fall will be Saturday night open skating held from 7:30-9:00 PM. Please note the weekly Wednesday night skating will begin at the new time of 6:30 PM. The Heritage Sports Center is located at 120 South 30th Avenue West. These sessions are free and open for pleasure skating. Please bring your own skates.
