The Duluth Children’s Museum Presents Skeletons in the Closet: A Day of the Dead Story
On Sunday, October 24th at 1:00pm and 4:00pm the Duluth Children’s Museum will be hosting a FREE family event in the Depot Great Hall: Skeletons in the Closet: A Day of the Dead Story, a puppet show presented by Twin Cities artists and puppeteers Julie and Gustavo Boada.
This bilingual (Spanish and English) puppet show is a tender story of children who are remembering their grandparents who have passed away. As the children follow their curiosity, they discover the meaning of the Day of the Dead and that the connection they have with their grandparents continues beyond death. The story is a celebration of love and the cycle of life.
Families are welcome to attend one (or both!) of the two shows (1:00 and 4:00pm) FREE of charge! The show provides an excellent educational experience and an opportunity to explore the meaning of a special holiday that is celebrated worldwide.
